Home services should be simple, fun and precise. Right? Would you like not to repeat yourself with a tradesman?

Ottitia is a private, secure environment where you invite tradesmen to bid or work on your project. Your details are kept hidden until you invite a tradesman for a home visit where you come to an agreement for the actual cost of your project.

Private bids invitation only. You choose who should price your job. After receiving your bids, narrow down who will likely to be awarded the job. Invite your shortlisted tradesmen for a home visit then award the winner(s). Yes, you can award more than one tradesmen for your project: Joe for Plastering and Jim for the Kitchen.

Pay your tradesmen in stages. Your tradesman will request a stage payment for the first section of the job. Releasing a payment tells your tradesman you agree to pay for the work. Once that section is completed, your tradesman will upload a photo, if any, of the work done then you finalize payment in which actual money will be deposited into the tradesman's online account. This is where all sales are final.

See which tradesperson in your area!

We target tradesmen in your local area so when you search with your postcode, we show you a list of tradesmen nearest you. Remember you can invite as many as you like.

Registration is free and we only charge a small fee, 6%, per balance deposit. You pay your trandesman from your online balance account. Your online account has no affiliation with your bank details nor credit card.

This will be my first live web app project aimed towards anyone that wants basically anything done in their home from a reputable and trusted company. We’ve built this website in steps where you act as the project manager for your own job. You privately invite bidders for your job, arrange who’s to come and visit for a quote, award that person then pay after that section of the job is completed.

In the old days, you would normally pay upfront, even before the first section of the job is ever started, and for most, they never see the lights of the tradesman they’ve paid. I have seen people’s eyes filled with tears when doing my marketing research for this website.

In the trade industry, most or all work is done in stages. Once that first stage is completed, you then award payment - no room for loss of your money.

Do you add value? Then share it!
